Hey everyone,
This, obviously, is the forum for the wecomic Internal Affairs. Feel free to come here to talk about the comic, webcomics in general, or really anything you want. But before you do, there are, as always, a few rules.
-NO SPAMMING. This means don't just come in here to tout your own webcomic, website, or whatever. If it comes up as an actual topic, or if someone asks, fair enough, but don't post a message on every thread telling everyone to come check out your site.
-BE RESPECTFUL. Every one has their own opinion about everything. Don't ridicule or harass someone else because theirs differs from yours. Don't make fun of someone because they're younger or older than you, because they're a differnt culture than you, etc. Basically, be polite and don't be ignorant.
-CHECK OTHER THREADS FIRST. Don't just come in and start up a conversation without looking over what's already being talked about. Look around in the proper area and see if there's a group of people already discussing Strip #7, or if some folks are already talking about their favorite webcomics of all time. This will help keep the number of extraneous threads down.
-DON'T BE OBSCENE. A certain amount of strong language is expected and allowed; the comic, after all, is not entirely "Rated G". But don't be sexually explicit, and don't use excessive profanity. Just in case.
-NO TROLLING. For those of you who don't frequent message boards and/or forums, "trolling" is basically writing intentionally inflammatory comments - making fun of a certain group, insulting a group of people, etc, just to offend people. This would probably fit under other categories, but I figure its a big enough problem sometimes that it might warrant its own entry.
-WHEN IN DOUBT, CONTACT AN ADMIN. Think someone has said something that needs to be censored? Think a thread needs to be stickied? Think a thread needs to be locked or deleted? Don't say so in the thread itself, because that will only make matters worse, not to mention there's no guarenteeing that an admin will actually see it. Instead, send a message to an admin with your comments, and they'll take care of it. As of right now, I'm the only admin for this board, but that might change. If it does, I'll let everyone know.
Keep in mind that we can and will ban you if you break any rules badly enough that we deem it warranted. Just be smart about what you're posting and it shouldn't be a problem.
