Here's another recommendation from me. For those who enjoy Internal Affairs, you should really give Jeff Goldblum's new show "Raines" a try. It's noir in a classic style, right down to intermitant sax music and a turned up collar with a fedora. Goldblum plays a detective who's lost his partner, and he hallucinates the victim of whatever crime he's investigating, along with his partner. Unlike shows like "Ghost Wisperer" and "Medium" (neither of which has ever interested me enough to watch) these are not ghosts, they are outright hallucinations. So we get the victim, but they are defined by what Raines knows about them which makes for some very amusing scenes. The shoiw is only two episodes in, and airing on NBC on Friday nights at 9. I know it's a crappy time, which pretty much signifies NBC has no faith in it. Just TiVo it, or if you're more low tech like me, set a tape. I think you'll dig it.
